Articulation agreements are used to assist students in taking the appropriate courses at the participating high schools that will transfer for credit toward an associate degree at McIntosh College. McIntosh College has a number of formal articulation agreements with high schools in the New England Region.
The intent of this articulation agreement is to provide a mechanism that will enable students enrolled in a course at a participating high school to receive college credits at McIntosh College for competencies acquired in an advanced subject or a combination of courses that would equate to one college course.
Through this agreement, the College and the high school are committed to providing students with a sequence of progressive learning experiences to avoid unnecessary duplication and facilitate a smooth transition for students as they advance to postsecondary learning.
This agreement defines and establishes the conditions under which the College will grant credit to students accepted for admission.
