WHAT IS DUAL ENROLLMENT
The McIntosh College Dual Enrollment Program provides high school Juniors and Seniors the opportunity for an early college experience by allowing them to enroll in individual courses at McIntosh College, located in Dover, N.H. Students can earn both high school credit* and college credit, and, may enroll up to a maximum of two courses per year offered either days or evenings. Successfully completed college courses may be transferable to other post-secondary institutions of higher learning. Dual Enrollment offers students opportunities to broaden their high school curriculum with interesting and challenging programs.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
Step 1 - Speak to your guidance counselor about your interests. Required high school subjects are usually not allowed to be taken.
Step 2 - Complete the registration form and mail it to the following address: McIntosh College Admissions, Dual Enrollment Program, 23 Cataract Avenue, Dover, N.H.03820. Click here to download the Registration Form for Dual Enrollment.
Step 3 — Set an appointment to meet with an Admissions Representative to finalize the registration process and pay for the course taken. A parent or legal guardian must accompany you to this meeting. To set an appointment call 1.800.624.6867.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
Each course at McIntosh College is $100.00 excluding the cost for textbooks and supplies.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
- Junior and Senior high school students who have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
- Students who have the necessary prerequisites for the desired college course
- Students who have permission from a parent and guidance counselor
* Credits earned at the discretion of the high school.

Transfer of Credits from McIntosh College
McIntosh College’s Education Department provides information on other schools that may accept credits for course work completed at McIntosh College towards their programs. However, McIntosh College does not imply or guarantee that credits completed at McIntosh College will be accepted by or transferable to any other college, university, or institution, and it should not be assumed that credits for any courses described in this catalog can be transferred to another institution. Each institution has its own policies governing the acceptance of credit from other institutions such as McIntosh College.
