MCINTOSH FACULTY MEMBER RECEIVES MAJOR RECOGNITION

(Dover, NH; September 24, 2007) McIntosh College’s Chef Instructor Michael Graves has earned a designation of Certified Culinary Professional (CCP) by the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). Chef Graves is a member of the faculty of McIntosh Atlantic Culinary Academy.

The designation of Certified Culinary Professional distinguishes Chef Graves among the leading culinary professionals in the world as only 300 Certified Culinary Professionals have reached this level through the IACP.

IACP is a not-for-profit professional association which provides continuing education and development for its members who are engaged in the areas of culinary education, communications, or in the preparation of food and drink. With worldwide membership of nearly 4000 in 35 countries, the organization is a "Who's Who" in the world of food.

Chef Graves as been a member of the McIntosh faculty since 2001. His focus of instruction is nutrition as well as basic skills and Garde Manger.

About McIntosh College

McIntosh College is a private, degree granting post-secondary college located in Dover, New Hampshire. McIntosh College offers a variety of associate degrees. McIntosh College was founded in 1896, and has continually operated in Dover, playing an important role in the region's evolving career education landscape. Today the college enrolls nearly one thousand students from around the country.

McIntosh College's programs currently include Culinary Arts, Criminal Justice, Medical Assisting, Paralegal Studies, Graphic Design, Professional Photography, Business Management, Massage Therapy and Fashion Merchandising. In 2006, McIntosh entered into an articulation agreement with New Hampshire's Plymouth State University in which course credit can be transferred to PSU for Graphic Design and Criminal Justice. McIntosh College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC).
