TELEVISION’S “PHANTOM GOURMET” BROTHERS TO ADDRESS McINTOSH COLLEGE GRADUATES

(Dover, NH, May 1, 2007); The popular New England television food and restaurant personalities known as “The Phantom Gourmet” will address the 2007 McIntosh College graduates at the school commencement ceremonies on May 20, 2007. Five hundred forty three students will receive degrees.

The graduation speakers, David and Daniel Andelman, are brothers who produce and host the television show “The Phantom Gourmet”. McIntosh President Dr. Michael Hoyle said, “Having the Andelman’s address our graduates is a fitting program for a graduating class that includes our Culinary Arts students as well as hundreds of other graduates who are about to embark on new professions and become part of the business community.” He added, “While we know the speakers will be entertaining, it will also be a reminder of the importance of customer service, commitment to quality, and professionalism which will offer guidance to our 2007 graduating class and the entire McIntosh Community.”

The Phantom Gourmet is a food-related television program which features restaurant reviews, as well as segments on food related topics and interviews with chefs and restaurant owners. The show is broadcast on WSBK-TV 38 in Boston and WLWC in Providence, RI. The multimedia talent of the Andelman brothers includes a Phantom Gourmet report card that appears twice a week in the Boston Herald, a regional restaurant guide, and a popular website.

The McIntosh College graduation will award Associate Degrees in programs including Accounting, Business Management, Fashion Merchandising, Criminal Justice, Graphic Design, Professional Photography, Medical Assisting, Paralegal Studies, and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. In addition, 38 graduates will receive certificates from the school’s massage therapy program. Of the 543 graduates, 360 are from New Hampshire.
