Criminal Justice Program

The Criminal Justice Program at McIntosh College offers more than just an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. It offers students a chance to learn firsthand from some of the most respected law enforcement and public safety professionals in the state.

***McIntosh College is coordinating the police exam for over 40 New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine police departments. The McIntosh Police Testing Alliance is now accepting registrations for the entry-level officer examination as well as the test prep course for this examination. Enroll in our Criminal Justice Program and you can prepare for a career in a wide range of public and private service environments, including law enforcement, probation, investigation and corrections*. Training at our college in New Hampshire also includes administrative, technical, interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.

  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for entry-level positions in the profession
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of criminal investigation and law enforcement
  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of juvenile delinquency and the juvenile justice process
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of criminal law and the legal process
  • Demonstrate knowledge of corrections, its alternatives, as well as parole

All Criminal Justice students are required to complete CPR-First Aid Certification. Seminars are offered regularly at McIntosh College and are in addition to regular tuition fees.
